I thought I would give you an update on my last post. Don’t worry, I will not be giving goal updates every week, just periodically.
I am excited to report that I have made progress in three of my New Year’s goals.
I made strides in two of my goals this week by writing this blog post. Today is Thursday, and it just happens to be the day I have declared as my blog posting day – deadline fear facing and more consistent writing, check, check!
So, you can look forward to reading something from me every Thursday. It may, admittedly, be by 11:59 pm at times, but at least it will be consistent. Who knows, I may get ambitious and try to occasionally write more often.
My third goal progress this week was in getting healthier. I ate many more vegetables and fruits this week, and I ate less processed carbs. As a result, I lost 4 pounds.
As exciting as my results are this week, I know that it is only the first week. There are 51 weeks left in the year, and I need to keep the end result in focus.
I want to take a few moments to talk to my fellow goal setters.
If this week was challenging for your goal achievements and you didn’t make the progress you had hoped, don’t lose heart. Tomorrow is a new day, and with it brings opportunities for you to get refocused. In fact, a big part of reaching any goal is taking daily steps toward your end result. You can do it!
For those who experienced success in one or more goal areas, I want to congratulate you in making it past the first week. Keep it up!
Great job!!! With great positive attitude you will succeed.
