Fall Break Repost – My Husband, My Hero

This week, my children are on fall break. We have been busy cleaning our house and visiting with friends, so my writing time has been limited. Instead of writing a new post this week, I decided to repost one of my most popular blog entries – My Husband, My Hero. I hope you enjoy it. See you next week. My Husband, My Hero Recently, my husband, Chris, and I started watching a show on Netflix called Fixer Upper. A New Adventure

Last Thursday night, I embarked on a new adventure – public speaking. Although this was not my first time speaking in public, it was my first time being the main speaker at an event. My backyard woods are already showing little hints of yellow, and my fire pit is eagerly awaiting fresh logs and gooey marshmallows. I love the fall. I look forward to it every year, since I READ MORE

Take a Look at Her Today, while scrolling through my Facebook feed, I came across the following picture. Doesn’t the woman in this picture look carefree? I shared the post on my page, and as I moved on with my daily tasks of washing laundry, grocery shopping, and house cleaning, I continued to think about this woman whose arms were spread like an eagle ready to fly. She was looking straight ahead, not to either side READ MORE
