I am a numbers person and enjoy finding patterns in everyday life. So, I was excited to discover that last Thursday marked exactly 41 days until my 41st birthday. Since I don’t believe in coincidences, I decided to investigate the significance of the number 41, not from a numerology standpoint but to see if God was revealing something to me through this number pattern. I have always enjoyed a good mystery, and this was no exception. After researching the number for a while, I started to get a little discouraged. I found several things about the number 40, but only READ MORE
Spring
As I was walking to my car this evening, I noticed a beautiful array of purple blossoms on the bush in my front lawn. I don’t usually notice the tree’s tiny flowers, but their lavender color, this season, drew my attention. Spring is finally emerging. Although the calendar declared the season change a couple weeks ago, it didn’t feel like spring to me. Still Waiting
If you have watched the news or checked your social media lately, you have probably seen something about April, the pregnant giraffe. For several weeks, viewers from around the world have intently watched her inch closer to calf delivery. I have been one of them. As I was looking through my previous blog posts for a spark of inspiration and encouragement, I came across one of my first blog entries -“Thankfulness”. It was a simple reminder to practice an READ MORE
On the Horizon

I was just calling to check on any developments in my dad’s case.” I press my ear firmly to the phone, listening carefully to the friendly yet matter-of-fact voice on the other end of the line, anticipating something I did not read in the online news feed. Of course, they share few new details because almost any information could jeopardise the READ MORE
