Ready for Spring

The winter months are brutal for me and my creative flow. Between the cold temperatures and the gloomy gray sky, I can’t seem to get inspired. Can anyone else relate?

As I peered out my sliding glass door this afternoon, I realized just how draining our current weather is for me. I need more sunlight! Thankfully, we have had some intermittent sun-filled days recently, but they were not enough.

I am ready for spring.

I am ready for beautiful flowers to pop through the soil, birds to sing in chorus, and fresh spring showers. I am looking forward to smelling the sweet spring air and feeling a gentle 70-degree breeze through my back door screen. I am especially excited about picking out and planting my garden vegetables.

I keep reminding myself that spring is less than a month away. For me, it cannot come soon enough!

How about you? Are you dreading the end of winter, or are you, like me, counting down the days until spring officially begins? What is your favorite part of spring? Feel free to leave a comment. I would love to hear your thoughts!

Yes, I am ready for Spring. When I was younger the cold damp weather did not not her me. I would just put on another layer and keep on going. Now approaching seventy it is not so much fun. It would be great if y body would wake up new and fresh like the foliage does in Spring.

YES, I am wholeheartedly 100% ready for the spring and summer months. I get energized during the spring and summer because its a blessing and motivation to see the flowers bloom, the birds chirping, smell of fresh grass being mowed.

I have enjoyed bundling up this winter and the peace a snowfall brings, but the sunshine we’ve had the past few days has been a life-force! What blessings warmth and sunshine bring.
